Meditation is about paying attention!!

Mindfulness is a form of intrapersonal attunement. The ability to see your own mind. Recognizing the spark before the flame.

Guided Meditation or Guided Imagery is a practice of aligning your mind, body and spirit by going deep within to access the power of your belief to create what you truly desire. It is a habitual process of training your mind to focus and redirect your thoughts. It is an incredibly enjoyable, healthy and inspiring way to achieve inner peace, and it is the easiest way to meditate.

Traditional unguided meditation techniques do require some effort on your part. For people who can’t keep their mind focused, starting with guided meditation is the effortless way.

It has been said that everything is within us - the peace, the power and the transforming presence of love to live a healthy, happy, and fulfilling life. Meditation is a great way to help us to get from a place of stress and anxiety to connect with that place of peace and power within and help us to restore balance and reclaim our innate life force to live freely and fully.

Guided meditation is researched and proven approaches that have lasting benefits for radiant health, happiness and self-empowerment.

Group Guided Meditation on Zoom

These are just a few of the many powerful benefits of a 15 to 20 minutes of daily practice. Just by being in a meditative state, your mind becomes still, clear and reflective. Fear and anxiety, the two major causes of stress, subside. Your heart rate slows down as your blood pressure regulates itself into the “normal range.” You feel calm and more confident, in touch with your own strength and power.

Guided Meditation and deep relaxation will help you to train your brain to slow down, enjoy life, and accept yourself. So take back your power and get control over yourself and your life! It is the most important investment you can make in yourself.

If you are Avenidas Village’s members, please join me every 1st & 3rd Monday at 4:30pm on Zoom for the Guided Meditation. Please contact Kay at (650) 289-5405 for details.

I was too relaxed to speak at the end of the guided meditation session. I participated this “Self-Compassion for Stress” guided meditation not because I’m feeling especially stressed but to try meditation. I started in what seemed to me a calm state, then relaxed some as you advised paying attention and letting go. Yet, when I “resurfaced” I felt markedly more relaxed than when I began. I would definitely join another session.
